Digital Art...Misc Stuff

Since I don't have anything else ready to go today, I
thought I would dump a few more of these digital pictures
on you. This is just a mish-mash of random stuff that I was
not able to categorize.

This first one is called The Warehouse, and it was one of
the first things I ever tried to create. Notice how large
the size of the little candies are...as you know, these
things are pretty small, but after I finished this, I
realized the apparent scale of them is pretty big.
Oh, well...
(Don't forget to click to enlarge, blah blah blah...)

This is Joe's Burgers...I tried to create a little city:

This is two versions of Joe's Diner, one without fog, and
one with fog:

This last one is pretty interesting. It is supposed to be
someone wielding a screwdriver on a live circuit board,
which isn't normally a very good idea.

Notice the flame where the tip of the screwdriver is
touching the board. I also tried to make little sparks
coming off the screwdriver, but it does not look very
realistic.

The hand in the picture is my actual hand.

If you look through the window where the van is, the real
scene BEHIND the van is the actual view of the house across
the street from our house. This is what we really see
looking out the window. (Minus the virtual van, of course).

The font of the lettering on the van that says 'Joe's
Computer Repair' is in Comic Sans MS...which is my favorite
font. I use it on everything.

Peace be with you.

Digital Art...Scenic Places

All right, it is the weekend, and I was browsing a few
more of the digital art creations I have muddled with
over the years. I don't have a lot of time to do this
anymore, but once in a while I will complete a project
I have been working on.

These are a few from what I call The Scenic Collection.

This one is kind of like the place I imagine myself living
in someday...a quaint little house right next to a lake,
and my own little garden in the back.
(Don't forget to click it to enlarge).

A deserted beach, and a very gloomy forest:

A road that leads to some kind of cool city, and a log cabin:

Finally, this is supposed to be a prehistoric scene. This
one took a lot of work, because I tried to make it into a
panoramic. You can't really tell here, because when you
upload these pictures to blogspot, it seems to reduce the
resolution quite a bit. The original is a huge file, if I
printed it out, it would probably be on a banner that was
about 2 feet wide:

To get a better idea, this image is an original-size crop
from the left side of the image where the smoke from the
fire is:

And finally, if you happened to have a pair of those funky
red-blue 3-D glasses laying around, you could see what I
attempted to create as 3-D. The image took almost 24 hours
to render when I was done:

Peace be with you.

Digital Art...Space...The Final Frontier

One of my little hobbies that I like to indulge in when I
have the time is creating digital art. It is a very
creative and time-consuming process, and a single project
takes a while to complete.

Often, you don't really know if it is going to turn out
really cool, or just plain lame until you have already
spent hours and hours on it. But if the results are
garbage, you can sometime salvage something out of it and
just call it 'Abstract'.

(I think the word 'abstract' just means garbage that was
intended to be garbage).

I'll post a few more of these in the future, but for now,
this is my Outer Space Theme.
(Don't forget to click to enlarge).

Base inside the crater wall, and The Lander:

Close to Saturn's Rings and Shattered Mountains on Mercury:

Some imaginary planet somewhere with people getting freaked
out by something:

Peace be with you.
