More Music...Scar De O Day

This song is pure nonsense.

Inspired by an Elton John song on his Caribou LP
from 1974 called "Solar Prestige A Gammon".
The song had made-up words and I don't think was
supposed to mean anything.

This song has potential, but there are lots of technical
glitches, such as drop-outs, sudden bassy over-
modulations, and lofty illusions that I am a singer!

It is just me playing, but it is tough to get everything
timed correctly when you are a one-man band!

I include the standard disclaimer:

Not professionally recorded, and it might sound better if
you listened with headphones.

The link and the lyrics appear below:

  1. I like a man who sings pure nonsense. Could you please do it while stabbing your breakfast?

    Love the drum work!

  2. Ha ha, you are so funny, Betty.
You just love when I stab the frozen microwave breakfast, don't you!
I thought that was pretty funny too, when I first looked at that video after not seeing it in about 15 years.
    Thanks for the compliment.

  3. I have to confess Joe, I clicked on the link with a heavy heart, thinking, "Sigh, yeah, okay, here we go..". Joe, you DO have a voice, a good one, and this song is GREAT!! Wow, it's certainly a whole lot better than a lot out there in the charts. It's lively, up-beat, and has a great rythum to it - I could see myself driving along to that in the car.

  6. Ah, my good doctor. I have an up-coming post that describes why I am very glad that we never succeeded in music when I was very young...for lots of reasons.
However, TODAY, I wouldn't mind making a living at it!
